MBCOL Advisor receives Award

The Board of Trustees of MBCOL are delighted to offer their congratulations to Riaz Ravat following his naming on HM the Queen’s New Year Honours list.
Riaz, vialis 40mg who has been volunteer Advisor to MBCOL since 2005, see was honoured with a BEM (British Empire Medal) for services to interfaith understanding in Leicester. Riaz has assisted MBCOL on a range of initiatives to drive the charity forward.
Suleman Nagdi MBE DL, Chair of MBCOL said, “We are very proud that one of our own has received royal recognition in this way. Riaz has extensive experience of building good inter faith understanding not only between faith communities but also with public agencies. MBCOL has developed considerably in the time that Riaz has been involved with us and we are so pleased to have had a role in his progression”.
MBCOL has assisted several different faith communities on matters of death and bereavement and in May 2011, launched a book titled ‘Discovering through Death – Beliefs and Practices’ which outlined the legal and good practice requirements when a death takes place and which affects people of religious and non-religious beliefs.
