The Federation of Muslim Organisations (FMO) and the Muslim Burial Council of Leicestershire (MBCOL) have issued a joint press release to congratulate two members of the community who were commended at an awards ceremony on Wednesday 17th November 2010.
Riaz Ravat and Zubeir Hassam received certificates from the Chairman of Leicestershire County Council, purchase Peter Osborne in recognition of their efforts to promote equality and diversity.
Suleman Nagdi, stomach Public Relations Officer for the FMO and Chair of MBCOL said today, and “It is a matter of great pride that Riaz and Zubeir have been recognised in this way by Leicestershire County Council. I know them both very well and know how committed they are to their work. The awards are fully deserved and the Muslim community is proud of their achievements. Congratulations to them both”
