City Retreat’s Janazah Workshop with MBCOL

The City Retreat, in partnership with MBCOL, delivered a workshop on Saturday 4th October 2025. The workshop focused on the steps and actions involved when dealing with a death in the community and funeral arrangement process. MBCOL shared their expertise and outlined the services available to support bereaved families within the community.This session included a practical ghusl workshop (washing and shrouding of the deceased) for both men and women, delivered by Islamic scholars and experts who regularly lead and conduct ghusls.The event was well attended and included an informative question and answer session. MBCOL offers this workshop to all communities, madrasas, community groups and organisations.
