Saffron Hill is one of our largest cemeteries, serving the south of Leicester. It is in Stonesby Avenue, close to the A563 southern ring road.

The cemetery has the general burial area for traditional and lawn graves, , a children’s section and the Muslim cemetery with prayer house.

The Muslim prayer house, or Jannazah, was opened in 1985, making it one of the first of its kind in Europe, and our Muslim burial system has become a model for many other providers.
